Following this incident, as Top Rank shared the brief clip on X, enquiring the fans who they would support if the bout came to fruition, several people engaged with the tweet. According to one, Anderson would probably win the fight given his boxing skills:

Staying ready so that when those big fights do come that I’ll be 100% ready,” he confidently said.
